VMAX3/AFA: Pending Format when no xml file attached
MyQuotes requires an XML file for VMAX3 upgrades. We do not have an option for manualconfiguration of the VMAX3. I recommend to please try using VMAX Sizer(http://vmaxsizer.emc.com). This tool will allow you to select an Express Config or build either a VMAX All Flash or VMAX3 configuration. It also supports creating both budgetary and orderable upgrades for VMAX All Flash and VMAX3. If you require an orderable upgrade please have either the appropriate BIN file or array’s serial number. You may also engage the GBS Sizing Desk to create a new VMAX All Flash or VMAX3 configuration using this link -https://inside.emc.com/docs/DOC-190259. The GBS Sizing desk provides full service sizing including a customer ready presentation. The Sizing Desk also handles all mSRP requests and can do performance based upgrades if needed. The errors seem to be Propel R3 issue . For this you need to get in touch with Propel R3 Team/MyQuotes Support Team. Please follow the below steps to contact with MyQuotes Support Team and raise a ticket for the same.
• Open a Ticket Online - https://emc.service-now.com/esp/create_ticket.do
• Contact Someone by Phone - https://emc.service-now.com/esp/contact_page.do
• For Logon Issues - Press 1
• For Quoting, Pricing Approvals and Order Submission issues - Press 2
• For Portfolio Configuration issues - Press 3
• For all other issues including MyOrders - Press 4
• Chat with IT service desk - Select ‘C’ for the MyQuotes and MyOrders option
